Product Description
"This work begins with a section on my thoughts on numerous things, life individuals and things. The second is devoted to thoughts on my second wife, I could not have written this book had she not urged me to stop lifting clay and start lifting books. We had been married 21 years when she died.
The next three sections follow the usual progression of my love life. First there is Happy Love, Love On The Edge and Destroyed Love. The poems in these sections reflect the theme of their individual Title. Now Bars, Booze and Broken Hearts pretty much is what went on between marriages. I hardly drink anymore, in fact I haven’t had a drink since this morning.
Section seven is about Traveling, Cars and Fishing- What Else Is There pretty much describes my interests. Three of my best cars make an appearance here as well as some of my destinations. Eight is Nostalgia Anyone, looking backward at places and things is a bad habit of us older folk.
The last section, The Man Behind The Curtain Revealed And It Ain’t OZ has a double meaning. By that I mean they reveal a side to me I usually take pains not to show.
