Ghostly Tales of Kentucky is a trip around Jefferson County and Kentucky including stories told by my grandparents and parents, and my own experiences with the paranormal. There have been times at family gatherings when my dad would tell ghost stories that sent chills up my cousins’ spines.

Ghostly Tales includes stories and urban legends from around Kentucky. One story in particular continues to send chills up my spine. During the Civil War, Kentucky was a state divided. Confederate soldiers used a house in Campbellsville as a slaughterhouse…of sorts. According to the stories, they executed their prisoners in the building. People say that when you walk past the house you can hear screams coming from inside.

While reading this book you may need to keep a light on, just in case. Pleasant dreams…maybe.
