This story tells the some times not to pleasant life style and/or day to day existence of Elrod ""Turk"" Turkanousfky, our main character who is an award winning and top stat gatherer involved in many Super Bowl wins for his football team the Crushers. Turk has an almost uncontrollable temper at times and does personal injury to both his wives and many opposing football teams members. His temper and spousal abuse cost him dearly in the divorce courts and then he loses the millions he's stashed in a Swiss bank to a con man. Injury requires him to quit the game and almost broke he and his friend Denny travel to Whitefish, Montana to check out a fishing resort his father left him. Arrogance of good business practices plus his stubborn egomaniacal attitude causes his resort to go broke and further refusal to listen to anyone causes his demise.
