My name is Chris Wellings. I am a children’s author and I worked with kindergarten students everyday. In 1998, I came up with the character Sparkles. Sparkles visited our classroom one day and the children absolutely loved her! It was not long after that when I decided to do more with her character.

That is when I began to write my first book, The Adventures of Sparkles! The book is about the magical way sparkles came to be.

"Sparkles meets the Easter Bunny" is now my second book in the Sparkles series. In this adventure, Sparkles meets up with a very sad Easter Bunny. She learns that the Easter Bunny is so sad because he thinks that children do not believe in him.

"Sparkles Visits the Farm" is now my third book in the Sparkles series. This is a true story about my son when he was five years old. Sparkles visits the farm with Scott, and he gets it all kinds of trouble. You'll need to read this latest adventure to see Sparkles can save the day!"
