"A terrorist organization smuggles the core of a small atomic bomb into the United States. Half of the core enters California hidden in a tourist’s souvenir shipment while the other half enters Texas in a similar fashion. The unsuspecting tourists learn of the contraband only when confronted by the terrorists. Despite intimidating demands for secrecy, one of them finds a way to notify authorities. If Special Agent Bruce Martin and his team cannot find a way to prevent assembly of the bomb, they will somehow have to defuse a live nuclear weapon before it destroys a major city.
