In the tradition of Mark Twain, The Leaping Frogs of Calameris County follows two young boys, Joseph and Billy, as they enter the annual frog jumping contest at the county fair. But there's just one problem: They're too lazy to work for the entry fee. The two go around town using their wits, trying to cheat people out of their money, when they come upon a new, sneaky idea of how to raise the money.
