Sir Anthony Milday, a left-wing, multimillionaire member of Parliament, has built his political career on the immigration issue, especially championing the rights of the Afro-Caribbean community. Suddenly, he finds that he is heir to a vast multimillion-pound estate in Jamaica based, of course, on the slave trade. Two other coloured claimants emerge. Extensive research reveals the terrible brutality of Sir Anthony’s ancestors whilst exposing his new attitude toward his rivals and the entire Afro-Caribbean society. The violent undercurrents of the drug trade emerge as he fights for his career, his marriage, but most of all his money, until his true inheritance becomes apparent.
