This book was written based upon my life, starting at the early age of three years old until the age of 57. Everything in this book, every horrible detail, every unimaginable terror, every unthinkable thing that a person can endure, happened to me. People look at me today and some say, “You must have had a good life because you don’t look your age.” That’s far from the truth. I decided to write this book in hopes that it might help other women who went through the same things that I went through. I believe my story will help those women who went through spousal abuse to see things differently after reading about what happened to me and how I coped. I believe this book will give them the courage to go on with their lives. Maybe someone out there might think she is not alone with her troubles. I hope that when people read this, they too can cope and come out unscarred the way I did.
