Product Description
Horseshoe Island deals with the German occupation of Denmark during WWII and the impact this has on two young students, Sven and Peter. Their school is occupied and their teacher is clubbed to death in front of them. The boys are sent to a canyon at the fjord to build a shelter for the families. They’re embroiled in the underground’s efforts to destroy a radar site and a chemical factory. The gestapo catches the boys, who are jailed and forced to watch their friend being tortured. Colonel Richter, a German, but family friend, creates false orders to have the boys flown to Germany under his guard. He commandeers the plane to cross the channel. They ditch in heavy seas near the coast of England. Will the boys be rescued?
