Here I Shall Stay is a collection of poetry and prose that relates an introspective chronicle of the life of an archaic Vampire. When an ancient tomb is found hidden deep within the confines of a primeval castle, the contents are revealed to be the diary of an extremely old and long-forgotten Vampire. Through a mixture of poetry and prose, the diary appears to recount the life of the Vampire, among others. In addition, several selections of verse effectively communicate the Vampire’s immortal journey and also include many meditative observations of the Vampire’s existence.
