To My Father, with Love tells the story of a little girl who is chosen to move in with her ill father and make adult decisions. She has to grow up very quickly. She has to take care of all of her father’s medical and business affairs, because her stepmother has chosen to continue with her life and doesn’t have the time to take care of an ill man who cannot meet her needs. The girl learns the meaning of loving unconditionally and becomes very close to her father. She also finds herself falling in love with her father’s drummer, whom she feels is her guardian angel. But she has to learn the harshest lesson of all when she loses the both of them.
