"I have been writing poetry for a long time. The poetry I have written has been primarily simple rhyme with a spiritual message. As a result of publishing just simple rhyme I have not been taken seriously as a poet. One critic suggested that I probably did not even know that an Iambic pentameter was poem with ten meters of verse in it. "Styles in Poetry" is my answer to my critics. It has sonnets written in tetrameter, some in pentameter, and Limericks, ABC poems, Acrostics, one Pindaric ode, and free verse poems, as well as a few simple rhyme poems. There are also Japanese Haiku, Senryu, and Tanka poems included."
