I love my grandson Gabriel and spending time with him. One day we were talking on the phone and he said "Nanny I am a country boy with a country horse". I laughed so hard and said "you cannot get more country than that." I wrote a song about our conversation but decided to write a short story instead. It is my honor to inspire others and help children read poems.
