I, Pastor Delores Palmer was born on October 23, 1955 as a native of Dinwiddie County to Deacon Howard and Lucille Jones, a family that believed that Jesus was your friend and everything in your life. Many times I felt that this just had an impact on how I thought in my mind, because at times I felt that I was a quiet child that kept many things to myself. I never felt it was very necessary to show my real feelings. I just mostly went on my way taking one day at a time in school and college. And even living on the farm in Dinwiddie County had its moments of growing experience working in the fields with my sisters. Somehow that part of me as a child had some bearing on what I had to become while attending Dinwiddie High School and University of Maryland. And, somehow, it was always my desire to write a book. But I never truly realized that as I grew further along in the years that my adulthood would truly put the Book chapters of my life into motion.
