In a cluster of hillside villages surrounded by green forests and scenic mountains is a horse ranch renowned for its prize Lipizzaner stallions. New ranch hand Jovan Petkovich hardly knows the first thing about horses until he meets Natasha, who shows him the ins and outs of horsemanship. Caring for a newborn colt, the two teenagers develop a strong trust and friendship. However, as civil war engulfs the region, Jovan and Natasha find themselves on opposite sides. Despite their differences, they must work together to save the horses and themselves. Ultimately, their fate will rest with the colt they both helped raise.
