Little Cedar chronicles the misadventures of two ten-year-old cousins, Pud and Skeeter, during a summer visit to their grandparents’ ranch at the foot of Rodney Mountain in the Kiamichi Mountain Range. The ranch is an integral part of the Little Cedar community, which is located a few miles northeast of Antlers, Oklahoma. The time period is at the end of the 1940s.
