Willie Andrew Kitchen grew up in Georgia; however, he was born in Connecticut where he has received a Master’s degree in Genetics from the University of Connecticut. His poetry draws upon influences from growing up in the South, as well as from poets such as Michael Drayton and Thomas Hardy. He writes passionately about life and love in Stoic Eyes, which is a poetic journey that takes the reader through the feelings of finding and losing love.
