Navigating the course of life isn’t easy; in fact at times it seems to be an insurmountable task. At one time in our life something occurs and our heart is broken, but looking back we may see the event completely different and may even laugh about it. Humor can be the best medicine for an unhappy heart. And yes, we must be able to laugh at ourselves. If we remember life isn’t rocket science and we can’t always put it in perfect order. We take chances in our life — sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Not giving up can be difficult but if we realize the amazing rebounding abilities our hearts have we will discover that we can go on. Illness, death, divorce can singly be devastating; when they happen concurrently or simultaneously it is understandable that throwing in the towel looks like an option. Hang in there. Life has a tendency to get better.
