Retirement Daze is definitely not a “how to” story. Rather, it permits the reader to learn as a result of the mistakes made by the author in his pursuit of retirement tranquility. Written in a humorous vein (in many instances with tongue in cheek), the author emphasizes that retirement can be a rollicking adventure, particularly when many feel that such an adventure was elusive at best.
