Darkfall was born in the mind of a madman. He sprang to power in the heart of the Torrikaad, a realm that made up the entire continent of Southern Kyber. He turned his gaze north, planning evil strategies against the strongest bastions of the light.

On that day called Darkfall, the Raper of the Torrikaad reached into the heavens and used the Light’s own technology to destroy it. The destruction struck all lands, and two-thirds of the surface of the world was destroyed by it.

The Light Lords weakened, as gods without worshipers were wont to do. They made their last dice roll with fate. Their agent of destiny rode out of the barbarous Northlands. The greatest asset in his arsenal—he was of a warrior caste thought to be extinct! He wore as his mantle—the legend of heroes. He wore the accouterments and he wielded the weapons of the star-armored cyberknights.
