Joyful Noise! is a story of two completely different dogs with completely different personalities who form a strong bond of friendship as they encounter various adventures in their home and neighborhood. Cleo (the well-groomed and refined sheltie) gently teaches her new friend Pepper (a rough and tumble “tomboy” cocker spaniel) the importance and value of forgiveness. The pair of friends interacts with a variety of characters including a charming mouse couple and their family, a mean “bad” dog, two adorable suitors, and a trio of therapy dogs. There are several amusing chases and a couple of harrowing incidents that are sure to draw the reader’s attention along as the two main characters bond and grow. Cleo encourages her young friend Pepper by using many of the lessons she learned from studying her Bible. By example, Cleo shows Pepper the strength in standing on the Word of God.
