George was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1972 and served with the 543rd Military Police until December of 1975. After graduating from Vincennes University, George considered two career options: the Lafayette Police Department in Indiana and the Colorado Ski Patrol. George chose to go to Lafayette. In this fictional work, George’s imagination explores what might have been if his career choice had been different. George is the pesticide compliance officer with the Office of Indiana State Chemists at Purdue University. George also travels around the U.S. and Canada where he teaches criminal investigation. He currently lives in Lafayette with his wife Denise and their three children.
