Feeling defeated and completely subdued from “life” in general, I have miraculously managed to pick up the pieces of my life and salvage what was left of my spirit to write my life story down. This is the second part to my autobiography, but it has been written in much more detail and carries a different but still very positive message. I developed the name “Black Love” on my own as a symbol of “love and peace of mind.” It has taken me many years to find my own voice and to hone it instead of continuing to be driven by what the majority feels is right. Back when I first started writing poetry, it was just an “escape” for me. I had no idea that it would turn into a “calling.” Now I feel a certain responsibility to personally help change the world, one person at a time.
