Z. Lewis was born in Houston, Texas, in 1978. Biblical studies are her passion. She enjoys writing about life as she sees it. She has battled with depression since the age of fifteen and has been admitted to several hospitals for treatment. In her teen years she learned the Word of God attending church, and as an adult she is learning to apply the Word of God to her struggle with depression. Studying God’s word gives her the strength to continue this battle over depression. Being able to express her feelings in poetry gives her great joy. Being able to share the joy of her poetry with others adds meaning to her life.
