Rumors have sprung up from the Western Woods of someone or something that is terrorizing and attacking the people of Alorien. But it is not until the Nymph princess, Violet, is abducted along with the disappearance of Athelion, the centaur, that Phillip and Nicole realize the gravity of the situation. Alorien is once more in peril.

With their trusted friends, the young king and queen set out in search of the island of wolf's bane, seeking the origin of the curse that now plauges their land. But this is only the beginning of their quest.
