Life is so good, until her middle daughter is killed in a wreck after a wedding shopping trip. Lynn records her grief journey in journals for the following decade. Lynn focuses on the whippoorwill, faithfully singing from her bedroom window sill. Applying Biblical truths, Lynn finds her solace on a starry, mid-winter Kansas night. Lighthouse Library emerges, her beacon of hope to help light the path for others. This non-profit serves as Lynn's platform to express the love she still holds for her daughter by serving others. She finds her answer to the question: “When will this grief end?”
