This book is a narration of the life journey, both prior to and after the spiritual conversion of an academic, a longtime political activist and a presidential candidate in the 2005 Liberian presidential election. Specifically, this book chronicles his life experiences during the period he refers to as “living the life of the permissive will” (prior to his conversion) and his unexpected encounter with God. This is followed by a discussion of his post-conversion experiences. These include the various challenges he has encountered—the 2005 Liberian presidential election, among others; the ways God has intervened in these episodes; and his ongoing spiritual communication with God, especially through revelations. The book’s essence is that God’s “amazing grace” of forgiveness and redemption is free to every human being, irrespective of his or her life experiences.
