Carrell Dowies’ interest in lines that rhyme began in the fifth grade of elementary school. That interest has continued throughout his life. Sadly, though, most of what he wrote was not kept. He wrote lines that rhyme for all occasions and in many instances formed them from memory without writing them down.

He has tried to show an interest in every avenue of service that was placed before him: educational organizations, civic programs, religious services, social endeavors, and in many ways where his services were requested.

His hope is that somewhere in this book there will be some lines that will fit each person who reads the book.
