A story of a house from the time it was built in the 1700s to the present and the people who lived there. Diverse in their skills and attributes, their foibles and troubles, all of them contributors rather than takers. Written in three sections, each a story unto itself, “The Chronicles of Margaret Rose” is the beginning, “The Pent,” contemporary and what was demanded of the current residents, and “Andrea's Diary,” which leads to the future of the estate.
