Product Description
These stories centre around two mouse friends and their adventures in Bermy Wood. Squeaky, a ginger-coloured mouse, leaves his dull hole in the ground to see the big world. He meets a white mouse called Milky. Together, they go out at night and make new friends. Squeaky hurts his leg and bends his whiskers when the mice visit an old house. He seeks Dr. Owl's help. The mice meet Beppo, a monkey, who is a Keep-Fit instructor. Squeaky goes regularly to Beppo to help him slim by climbing high trees. Squeaky gets to know Kina, a black mouse, and soon, they get married. They have four baby mice. Uncle Milky teaches them Survival Skills. Their neighbours, Pussums and Pugsey, hate the mice. These cats are jealous of Kina's children. Pussums even attacks Milky, but Beppo saves him.

All the creatures of Bermy Wood gather at Dr. Owl's clinic when they hear her hooting. They sense danger. Her good eyesight helps her see an imminent invasion of Bermy Wood by the Stray Cats. She urges all creatures to unite to fight the Strays. There is fierce fighting. In the end, the Strays are defeated.
