Human males start disappearing from the streets of America, winding up in the death chambers of Gemini's fertility-testing compound near Joshua Tree National Monument.

All is going as planned until the queens of Gemini and its rival colony Yoxall vanish, setting off an interplanetary conflict that puts America in the crosshairs.
