Bernie Beirne was born on September 2, 2004. He was added to the Beirne clan on January 2, 2005. Bernie is a West Highland white terrier, one of the smartest and spunkiest breeds in existence.

Bernie explains his earliest memories prior to joining his new family, and then relates his personal experiences with the animal world. He begins with the world of bugs and plows right through the rest of the animal world, until he meets a horse. Bernie can be found relating to other animals on subdivision trails, at night, at work, with the coffee crowd and even while on vacation.
