This is the continuing story of Shawn Marsh, the “Runaway” kid from Pennsylvania. After suffering the hardships of living on the road, stealing food, sleeping in a garbage can and working on a rusty old freight boat, Shawn finally finds happiness on a remote Bahamian island. He falls in love with a beautiful island girl, learns the ways of the sea from an old fisherman and searches for pirate treasure in a cave where he finds a cannonball and a gold coin. After an Island wedding, Shawn and Doddie build a home and settle down to learn each other’s different cultures and raise a family. Shawn is convinced that there is a fortune in buried treasure hidden in the cave where he found the cannonball and spends all of his spare time searching. He finally finds his treasure, but it is not exactly what he expected ....
