As people grow older their memories can be a wealth of smiles and tears. If they examine them they can relive their lives in their minds and hearts. The mind does sneaky things at times, and people need to be alert to rambling negative thoughts that can literally ruin a day. He owes much of this to his father, who was his hero and mentor. He related some of the stories of his youth and life, and they too became a part of the author. Life is what people make it.
