For R A Williams, poetry has been a part of her life since she was eleven years old. Growing up in a large family presented numerous challenges. Thus Williams began writing poetry as a way to deal with life and her personal conflicts. It soon became her way of sharing her life experiences with family and friends.

Williams devotes her spare time to writing songs and Bible devotions, teaching and spending time with family and friends. She also lends her insight to the “Get Lifted Show” on cocgospel.com.
