Darwin W Ellis Jr. was born a native Texan. At an early age he moved to Wisconsin. When Darwin was young he realized he was a fanatic of horror movies. It was during this time he was introduced to the story of Elizabeth Bathory. Her story intrigued Darwin so that he researched Elizabeth and was inspired to write his first book.
