Elnora is married to Walter Fortson, and is mother of three daughters, Akilah, Ayanna, and Anika. God saved Elnora in 1975. She praises the Lord in poems and songs. She is an August Wilson Writing Contest poetry winner, recorded “Jesus Walks the Waters of My Soul” (Pennsylvania Council on The Arts Grant), and authored Women of the Bible.
