Tess Morgan is an attractive, successful entomology professor at Purdue University. Everything seems to be going her way when unfortunately her life takes a turn for the worse. Tess flies home to attend her uncle, the professor's, funeral and ends up in the center of an international conspiracy blaming the professor and his latest discovery, the “Miracle Serum,” as the cause of numerous deaths. She is forced to solicit the help of the professor's research team and her ex-fiance, Pete Hoffmann, to help her find the real killers and to prove her uncle's innocence.
