When Joe and Louise O’Connor move into their new home in the quaint coastal town of Bayberry, Long Island, they feel as though it is a dream come true. Patrolled and protected by the mysterious Bay Constable, the cove hides the key to Bayberry’s sinister past, one involving unnatural visitors that hold the town and its citizens in a state of unending terror. When the disappearances continue and residents are savagely attacked by unknown predators, Louise alone is willing to undertake the task of uncovering Bayberry’s secret. At the same time she learns something about herself, something which puts her at risk both for her safety and her sanity.
