These collections of poems are reflections of my life when I felt certain feelings, emotions, pain, hurt, confusion, anger, happiness, and gratitude. They are a reflection of times of conflict and turmoil, a search for happiness, meaning, purpose, and peace. They are my own opinions and views, questions and answers. Raised in church I have a strong spiritual foundation, which reflects in most of my writings. Many of my life experiences have also inspired my writings. You will find that I embrace many aspects of life. Beginning with the acknowledgment of my womanhood, realizing how lost I was in this world, I searched and continue to search for the answers and meaning of my true purpose in life. These collections of poems, I hope will inspire everyone. We all possess the ability to survive turbulent times and live our lives to the fullest, to love life and one another, and most of all to love ourselves.
